Jaydev B. Mistry, MDBoard-Eligible Orthopaedic Joint Replacement Surgeon
Dr. Jaydev B. Mistry is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon at Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute, specializing in advanced hip and knee replacement surgeries. Known for his expertise and compassionate approach, Dr. Mistry is dedicated to improving patients’ mobility and quality of life through both surgical and non-surgical treatments.
Originally from Parsippany, New Jersey, Dr. Mistry completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Rutgers University-Newark, where he was honored as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and went on to deepen his expertise through a two-year clinical research fellowship at the Center for Joint Preservation & Replacement at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. His rigorous orthopaedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY provided him with comprehensive training in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions. Following his residency, he completed an advanced fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Baltimore Arthroplasty Fellowship, performing complex joint replacements at both the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics and the University of Maryland.
Dr. Mistry remains at the forefront of orthopaedic innovation by staying current with the latest advancements, including robotic-assisted hip and unicompartmental knee replacements, joint preservation procedures, osteonecrosis, orthopaedic trauma, and fracture care. He has also made significant contributions to the field, with over 60 peer-reviewed publications, 30 international podium/poster presentations, and authorship of five textbook chapters.
