Lisa N. Sims, DNP, FNP-COrthopedic Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Sims, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute, which has locations in Griffin and Stockbridge, Georgia. She partners closely with Dr. Philip Ploska and has over 15 years of experience treating orthopedic conditions in adults and children.
Lisa graduated from Georgia State University with her Master of Science degree in 2006. She attended the University of Alabama, where she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with honors in 2017.
Lisa has gained invaluable experience working alongside Dr. Ploska. She specializes in nonsurgical treatment options for the full spectrum of orthopedic disorders. She is involved in the entire continuum of care for Dr. Ploska's patients, and you will see her in the office and hospital settings.
Lisa is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Lisa and her family reside in McDonough. She enjoys attending sporting events, gardening, and spending time with her family.
