Celebrating Regenerative Orthopaedic & Spine Institute’s (ROSI) 8-Year Journey: A Quest of Growth and Excellence
In October 2015, Dr. Philip Ploska embarked on a journey that would shape the future of orthopedic care. The inception of Regenerative Orthopaedic and Spine Institute marked the beginning of a remarkable quest, driven by a commitment to excellence.
Supported by a dedicated, exceptionally talented clinic team including Lisa Sims DNP, FNP-C, Quantri Staples, Kim Irby, Dana Phillips, and Terry Price, ROSI came to life on October 26, 2015, located at 203 Medical Blvd Stockbridge, Georgia. The modest beginnings quickly transformed into a hub of activity, attracting patients seeking the renowned care associated with Dr. Ploska.
The success prompted expansion, leading to the opening of a second office in located at 680 S. 9th St Griffin, Georgia. By August 2017. Dr. Steve Rayappa joined as the first active business partner, signaling a new phase of growth.
In August 2017, ROSI relocated around the corner to a larger space at 135 North Park Place, setting the stage for continued expansion. Suite 101 was added in September 2018, showcasing ROSI's commitment to enhanced patient care, including the installation of an MRI machine for comprehensive diagnostics.
The journey reached new heights in January 2019 with the expansion and grand opening of upstairs offices, accommodating additional doctors and treatments. This expansion also saw the establishment of the ROSI Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Department under the leadership of Doug Hatterman, MSPT, ATC
The commitment to growth and excellence extended to the ROSI leadership expansion, welcoming our first Chief Business Officer John Flynn, along with our first Chief Leadership Officer. ROSI continued its growth footprint by employing, Dr. Brad Prybis, Dr. Opeyemi Lamikanra and Jaadir Payton PA-C. By November 2023, the ROSI team had grown to 75 employees, showcasing a testament to its success.
Approaching its 8th anniversary, ROSI has proudly served over 30,000 patients, solidifying its footprint. Planned openings in Buckhead Atlanta in Q1 2024 and Lake Oconee further affirm ROSI's commitment to comprehensive orthopedic care, by offering patients the ability for same day outpatient surgeries at ROSC, rehabilitation, and physical therapy, along with ventures into the Ancillary Services business.
Welcoming Chisom Odogwu, PA-C and ROSC’s Director of Nursing Mason Duke in January 2024, ROSI looks ahead with enthusiasm for a bright future. The journey, born from a dream, has evolved into a powerhouse covering all orthopedic specialties, integrating interventional medicine while creating a legacy of resilience, dedication, and exceptional care.
